.: Cabin Details
-
The main floor of the Tree House consists of a great room with a log and beam
staircase as a centerpiece and dividing point for the room. Relax in front of
the fire or look out over the trees as you dine, the cabin is ideally suited
for 2 to 6 people.
-
6 seat dining table in cane and wicker
-
Love seat and oversized ottoman in front of the stone fireplace
-
Fully outfitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, oven and
refrigerator with water and ice in the door.
-
Stain glass windows accent the views you'll find from almost a dozen top of the
line, thermal Anderson windows and doors to let in the natural light --
filtered through the trees without the UV rays or chill in the air.
-
Log bunk beds recessed in an alcove make a perfect place for sleeping and
napping
-
A shower and WC with Venetian glass lighting and artist rendition Koehler sink
complete the main floor bath with peach and green tartan window treatments to
ensure privacy from nosy wildlife.
-
The Ground floor hosts two bedrooms with hickory beds (one queen and one full)
with combed cotton high thread count sheets and Adirondack quilts and shams,
pieced from tiny calico prints in a hand-quilted design of a traditional
"barn-raising" variation on the Log Cabin pattern (100% cotton, including the
fill). Wall sconces left and right of each bed with individual switches allow
late night reading for one and a restful night for another. Ceiling fans keep
the breeze flowing from outside to in if you choose open windows and keep the
air conditioning on the move when balmy evenings call for relief!
-
The main floor bath features an oversized whirlpool tub and charming accents of
oil rubbed brass faucets to recover from whatever ails you after a day of fresh
air and nature. Lots of thick, rich, 100% cotton washcloths, face towels and
bath towels await you in each bath. No need to carefully skimp with one thin
towel!
-
Step out onto a covered porch from the main floor to relax and look down over
your surroundings or step out on a stone patio for breakfast and some sun.
Nature and nurture meet here.
